We are very lucky to know people with such interesting lives! When our dear friends Katy and Nick told us about their wedding plans, we couldn’t help but want to be a part of their big day. They live on Maui, but certainly didn’t follow the typical destination wedding plan. Their idea of the perfect wedding included two fun filled days, one for the wedding with family, and a second day for a larger reception with friends and family.
True lovers of the outdoors, they decided on outdoor bridal and family photos then an intimate mountain-top ceremony that required a 3 mile roundtrip hike for day 1. Naturally, since they live in Hawaii, a beach photo session and reception with an epic view of the south Maui coast line was part of the plan for day 2.
The families were so supportive of this union. Katy’s mother made her dress, and Nick’s stepfather performed the ceremony, inviting all attending to lend their energy and love to the successful lifelong union of Nick and Katy. Congratulations!!
